Returns & Exchanges

At Lolly May, we want you to adore your pieces — but if something isn't quite right, you're welcome to return your order within 21 days of delivery for store credit or an exchange, as long as it meets our return requirements.

To be accepted for return, items must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags attached
  • Be free of washing powder, perfume, food, and pet hair
  • Not be a final sale item
  • Have the hygiene sticker intact and untampered (swimwear)

Not eligible for return:

  • Change of mind items exceeding 21 days from delivery
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or marked by the customer
  • Products marked final sale

LM reserves the right to reject returns that don't meet these requirements. Ineligible items will be sent back and any applicable fees recovered. All discount codes are one-time use — if you return an order for which you claimed points, the points and discount code are non-refundable.

All returns must be lodged through our Returns Portal.

  • All returns must be processed through our official Returns Portal. All items from an order must be returned in a single transaction. Returns not processed through the portal are not eligible for compensation.

    Store credit

    • Credit is valid for 3 years from the date of issue
    • Store credits and gift cards are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
    • Discount codes and loyalty rewards are forfeited on store credit returns
    • A $10 handling fee applies

    Exchanges

    • Subject to stock availability
    • If you return an exchanged item, it will only be eligible for store credit
    • Duties and taxes are not included for exchange orders
  • You can exchange unworn Lolly May items for a different size within 21 days of delivery. A flat $15 handling fee applies, covering shipping both ways ($7.50 each way — cheaper than your local post office, as Lolly May absorbs some of the cost).

    How to exchange:

    • Lodge your return via the Returns Portal
    • Select the items you are returning and the reason, then click "Exchange"
    • Choose the size/colour you'd like and press "Confirm item"
    • At checkout, pay the $15 handling fee to complete your exchange
    • Once submitted, you'll receive a return label for your items
    • Your exchange will be processed once the return has been reviewed

    If an item shows as available but not for exchange, it's likely low in stock and held by our reserve system. In this case, return for store credit and use that to purchase directly from the site.

  • Items marked Final Sale cannot be returned for an exchange or store credit.

    Consumer rights: Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). We encourage all customers to review their consumer rights under relevant Australian legislation.

  • Please email details and photos of the fault to our Customer Experience team at hello@lollymay.com. We'll forward it to our product team for assessment — in some cases we may need the item returned for further investigation.

    • Major fault: you're entitled to a replacement or refund upon assessment
    • Minor fault: we can offer a repair, replacement, or credit note

    If the item is confirmed faulty, we'll cover return postage. If the product is found not to be faulty, delivery costs are your responsibility. Normal wear and tear, change of mind, or defects from improper use are not considered faults.

  • Australia Fee

    Exchange (same item, different size) - $15 to cover postage both ways

    Store credit (covers return shipping to us) - $10

    Your original shipping fee covers the shipping and handling of your initial order and will not be refunded if you choose to return. For all other countries, please email hello@lollymay.com.

  • Store credits and exchanges are processed once your return has been delivered and reviewed by our team.

    If you're expecting a store credit, please check your junk/spam folder first. If you still can't find it, email hello@lollymay.com with your order number.

    For exchanges, once your return reaches our warehouse, your replacement item will be shipped within 2–4 business days. If you haven't received a tracking link, check your junk folder and confirm the email address you provided is correct.
